I think this piece of work was one which was doomed from the get go. I had a hard time getting what seemed like a really cool idea in my head onto the canvas. The initial concept was to be some form of crab like titan, raising from the depths. After hours and hours of not being happy with my design, I decided just to do finish off rendering quickly and get the piece over with. But I think it's important to remind myself of fails as well as my success. Overall my inexperience and lack of confidence in all aspects, proportion, perspective and color showed in this piece. But only by doing pieces like this do we learn. A failed piece but a lesson learnt. September 2013.
